IT Fox Solutions. Terms and Conditions:
*Please be aware all applications, settings, and data, including contacts, pictures, and other personal information may be irretrievably lost during the service repair process.
It is highly recommended that you back up any data before booking your device for repair. None of the parties associated with the repair process, including IT Fox Solutions, the service repair agent or the store shall not be responsible for the loss of any data or personal information you may suffer. Any claim against IT Fox Solutions to the value of the hardware being repaired. In no case, IT Fox Solutions will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including without limitation, any loss of revenue, loss of profits, or loss of data. Repair /replacing your device can take longer than the promised time.
Turnaround time for repairs is 1 – 5 working days, depending on parts availability.
Equipment and Data
a. IT Fox Solutions will endeavour to take all reasonable care of your Equipment. However, your Equipment is supplied to us at your risk. You must make sure that your Equipment is fully insured at all times.
b. You must ensure that all software and data which is on your Equipment is backed up by you prior to providing your Equipment to IT Fox Solutions. IT Fox Solutions will not be responsible for any loss of data from your Equipment for any reason.
c. If IT Fox Solutions needs to send your Equipment to the manufacturer or another third party for any reason, you accept that IT Fox Solutions cannot be held responsible for the security or confidentiality of the data on your Equipment (including any personal information). IT Fox Solutions recommends that you remove any data that is particularly personal or sensitive prior to providing your Equipment to IT Fox Solutions You consent, and warrant that you have all third-party consents, regarding the provision of all personal information to IT Fox Solutions. In the context of a Warranty Claim or other service, IT Fox Solutions may need to provide your personal information to the relevant manufacturer for verification purposes. You consent to such disclosure. You also consent to receiving electronic communications from us from time to time with regard to goods or services which we may promote.
IT Fox Solutions mobile phone repair specialises in NON-WARRANTY repairs
issues not stated in the job notes will not be diagnosed and IT Fox Solutions is not liable. Customers must have advised the agent and a note must be made for each issue needing to be fixed.
Charges & Payment
All prices quoted exclude GST and are in New Zealand dollars unless otherwise specified. For quotes to repair costs are estimates only more charges or parts may be required if additional problems are identified during the repair process. Customers will be notified if any repairs exceed the set PRICE & TIME before repairs commence.
IT Fox Solutions reserves the right to adjust prices without notice. Advance payment is required for the supply of any hardware or software for the client.
If an on-account payment is offered, payment of the account is due within the agreed terms; otherwise, the remainder of the account is due immediately following the issuing of an invoice.
Security/Unlock Codes:-
If you have set personal/lock codes on your device, please provide this to the salesperson who is booking your device in for repair. This will help minimise repair turnaround time.
SERVICE WARRANTY:
Hold on to your receipt, this is your Proof of Purchase. Proof of Purchase is required to validate your Warranty. If no proof of purchase is provided we may not be able to cover the warranty.
Warranty applies only on hardware no warranty on software if corrupted because of viruses or negligence of the customer or unsafe browsing.
IT Fox Solutions warranty only applies when the same fault occurs if the replaced/fixed part fails within 30 days of repair unless specified.
Our limited warranty does not cover the following:
There is Liquid Damage . There is normal Wear and Tear on the device. The damage has been caused by an accident including (but not limited to): Impact Damage, Power Surge, misuse, or neglect. There is evidence of repair or tampering by an unauthorised person. The fault is caused by non-original accessories involving electrical contact. The fault is caused by Corrupted Software (due to full memory, installation of third-party software/applications, or otherwise). The device has been damaged during rough handling, and exposure to harsh environments (including extreme temperatures, leaving in direct sunlight, excessive dust, or signs of physical damage). There is visible corrosion evident. The fault occurs outside the warranty period.
Warranty will NOT cover goods that have different electronic or mechanical faults from originally repaired and warranted faults.
Repaired Device Pickups:-
All products not picked up within 30 days of being advised, will become the property of IT Fox Solutions. This could be disposed of, used for spare parts, or sold to recover repair costs.

* *If you are given loan equipment it must be returned within 7 days after you. a) Are notified that the equipment submitted for repair cannot be repaired, b) Have decided not to proceed with any service.
If you damage or lose or do not return the loan equipment you will be charged for its repair or replacement.
We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase
— so please choose carefully.
If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by
the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase. Please note, that items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.
To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and we will need to be notified within 7 days of purchase/delivery.
Testing fees and returns freight
The inspection fee is non-refundable. If you return a product to us that is not faulty, you may be liable for a testing fee and freight charges to return the product to you.
Computer Viruses, Spyware & Adware
IT Fox Solutions agrees to take all reasonable measures to protect the Client’s computer systems from computer Viruses, Spyware, and adware. Client assumes all risk of computer Viruses, Spyware, and adware and will not hold IT Fox Solutions responsible. The client is responsible for the costs of consulting time and materials required to remove any computer Viruses, Spyware, or Adware or any damage caused by such infections.
CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
IT Fox Solutions may, in its sole discretion, change this Agreement from time to time as it relates to future use of the Website, by posting a revised Agreement on the Website. By using the Website after this revised Agreement has been posted, you signify your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the revised Agreement. You may not change this Agreement in any manner.
